Great Food and Lovely Staff

“Had lunch today at The Joshua Tree with a friend and the food was excellent. We both had the asparagus starter which was very good; I had the ostrich steak which was tender-cooked perfectly with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. My friend had the pork belly with the best crackling ever. Lovely side vegetables accompanied the meal. The waitress could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be putting this pub on your top place to meet for our ladies who lunch venue.”

This Place Thoroughly Deserves Its Ratings

“Great food and fine ale accompanied by excellent service. The four of us had different dishes, all were magic. The accompanying veg was generous and done to perfection.

This isn't 'fine dining' but good honest pub stuff. My fish pie was brilliant.”

Eton Mess

Excellent Meal

“Really cosy restaurant. My husband had a fabulous steak. I had the pork belly, also delicious - and both meals came with a (free) side dish of vegetables! Most restaurants make you pay through the nose for a bit of salad or a few peas, so well done, Joshua Tree!”

Great Food and Lovely, Friendly, and Welcoming Staff

“We were a party of four, and had the Valentine's weekend special three course menu. There were great choices for each course, and it was hot, cooked perfectly, and beautifully presented. The surrounding was warm and pleasant with a nice ambience. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and very efficient, and we will really look forward to our next visit.”
